Tebuconazole acts as a systemic fungicide. Demethylase inhibitors (DMI) – interfere in the process of building the structure of the fungal cell wall. This finally inhibits the reproduction and further growth of the fungus. It is a systemic fungicide containing 5.36% w/w Tebuconazole active ingredient, balance auxiliaries and inert material. It contains 60 gram of Tebuconazole active ingredient per litre of formulation. It is used as seed treatment for the control of loose smut disease of wheat.
Preparation & Directions Of Use
Tebuconazole 5.36% w/w FS applied before sowing as seed treatment for the control of loose smut disease of wheat.
Seeds can be treated with recommended dose of Tebuconazole 5.36% w/w FS after adding required quantity of water.
The total slurry volume should be around 10 -12 ml for treatment of 1 kg seed.
Roll the treated seed in a closed container until each seed uniformly coated with fungicide.
